Apr 05, 2023Vietnam ADRs Week (VAW) is the one and only series of events in Vietnam which is initiated by Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC). The first-ever VAW hosted by VIAC in 2020 grew into a significant series of activities that connected domestic and international arbitration practitioners and served as a forum for ADR experts to express their views for the improvement of the quality of arbitration. The Week so continues to be organized with the goal of contributing to enhance the competitiveness of the economy and business community, and facilitate the economic, trade, investment, scientific and technological cooperation between domestic and foreign entities in Vietnam.

Nov 24, 2022In November, in order to provide businesses and lawyers with methodical and systematical approach to the knowledge and international practice of commercial arbitration, the Vietnam Institute for International Arbitration Research and Training (VIART) - a division of the Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC), organized the first 02 training courses on “Arbitration skills for dispute resolution” (Basic module) on 4 – 6 November 2022 in Hanoi and on 11-13 November 2022 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Aug 25, 2022On 18 August 2022, Dr. Vu Tien Loc – The President of the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), Ms. Vu Thi Hang – Head of International Cooperation, have a working session with the with representatives of Friedrich Naumann Foundation in Vietnam (FNF) - Prof. Dr. Andreas Stoffers, National Director in Vietnam, and Ms. Vu Quynh Duong, in charged of Project and Communication. During the working session, both parties has discussed cooperation opportunities in promoting free trade activities and dispute resolution in Vietnam.
