[HCMC] Workshop "Resolving disputes in EPC general contractor contracts – congestion in the key projects of Vietnam"

In Vietnam, key projects on electrical energy and mining are mainly choosing to apply the project management through the mechanism of EPC General Contractor because specific requirements for designing and procurement of equipment cannot separate and always requires high uniformity. However, in fact, some of these projects are facing difficulties due to disputes arising during the implementation of the EPC contractor contract, which causes the project schedule to be delayed, "increasing capital" of the investment owner as well as increase costs and damages for the General Contractor. Looking for a way to resolve these disputes quickly and effectively will solve the "capital flow" and accelerate the completion of these projects.

Wishing to bring to the participants (attendees) a multi-dimensional perspective on some typical disputes arising from the EPC General Contractor contract and to propose suggestions to prevent risks as well as effectively deal with disputes, VIAC and Court of Arbitration of International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) co-organized the workshop "Resolving disputes in EPC general contractor contracts – congestion in the key projects of Vietnam".
